Adai

Adai

Ingredients:
Raw rice-1/2 cup
Thoor dal-1/4 cup
Urad dhal-1/4 cup
Channa dhal-1/4 cup
Moong dhal-1/4 cup
Red chillies-3 or 4
Salt-1 tbsp

How to make it:
Soak all the above listed ingredients except salt for about 12hours or overnight . Then grind them into a coarse paste without adding much water. Add salt as per your taste. We can also add onions to the mixture if we like. I generally add them to enhance the taste :)
Now heat the tawa and make the adai by applying little oil on the sides similar to making a dosa.
Adai is best served hot with coconut chutney or mint chutney.
